Hi, I’m Oscar, the owner and DJ behind DJ VII CAKE.

Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Before I ever stepped behind a DJ booth, I spent years playing guitar, writing songs, and recording music in my home studio. That love for music eventually led me to join the military, where I was stationed in Puerto Rico. It was there that I fell in love with the island’s vibrant music culture and had the opportunity to meet and learn from talented DJs who inspired me to pursue DJing myself.

I began taking every opportunity to learn, practice, and perform at parties and weddings, building my experience one event at a time. When I moved to Washington, I turned that passion into a business, and for the past 10 years I’ve had the honor of entertaining at weddings, private events, and celebrations of all kinds.

Today, my favorite part of being a DJ isn’t just playing great music—it’s helping create unforgettable moments. Whether it’s your first dance, the packed dance floor at the end of the night, or the memories you and your guests will talk about for years to come, I’m committed to making your wedding feel personal, seamless, and uniquely yours.
